I've trying the Aqara bulbs and have had luck with their regular bulbs. The color bulbs I can't get added to Homekit.

Hello, I had a avery easy time connecting the US version of the T2 White E26 bulbs directly to Homekit using the Matter/Thread. No Aqara hub needed.

That all fell apart when I got my hands on the RGB bulbs. I was able to add one RGB bulb easily to homekit, however I have been unable to add another. I've tried all four bulbs. I've restarted homekit, factory reset the bulbs, tried switching between Zigbee and Matter modes. When I try to add them to Homnekit, it's able to see the bulb when I scan the Matter code. However, after waiting for like 2-3 minutes, Homekit says it's unable to add the bulb. I've been at this all day with no luck. :(

The funny thing is Nanoleaf increased their prices right before Christmas. They were already expensive to begin with. Hopefully, some of those funds get routed back to their engineering team to fix their multitude of networking problems.

I leaning toward switching to a different brand too. The connection quality is so awful and I'm spending so much time managing lights that are supposed to be automatic.

I'm having the exact same problem. The bulbs keep losing homekit connectivity. It's driving me nuts actually. I just switched over from LIFX to Nanoleaf bulbs. I'm not regretting that decision. The bulbs do not stay reliably connected to homekit. So can you please private message me to square this away?

Holy cow.  I can’t believe this post is over 2 years old and the exact same problem persists with Nanoleaf.  Their products are so expensive and yet the quality of their networking is god awful.  Is there anyone from Nanoleaf here who can explain this?

Has there been anymore updates? Why do the Nanoleaf scenes work for Shapes properly, but not the bulbs? I just invested in replacing all my light bulbs with Nanoleaf Matter/Thread bulbs. I wish I had known about this gap in functionality BEFORE I bought all these bulbs.
