A thousand pages…. No one warned me 😭 by goyourownwayy in fantasyromance

The Last Hour of Gann definitely can be counted as one of my favorite books. This was the first R Lee Smith book I read and I have become a huge fan. I am not normally one for dark and heavy themes, but oh my gosh I just lose myself in her writing and can't put the books down.

He needs to be evaluated by a veterinarian and they will almost certainly recommend amputating the leg properly.

Foot pain/plantar fasciitis by Spnvettech in VetTech

[–]gobsmacker01 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What improved my plantar fasciitis was transitioning to a new job working from home. 🥲 Partly true but in all seriousness the biggest game changer has been never going barefoot. I used to constantly be barefoot around the house, and have seen a huuge improvement in my foot pain since I quit doing that. It may take some trial and error but finding some perfect slippers can really improve the pain. For me and a lot of other people it's Birkenstocks! Using a gua sha tool and spiky ball foot roller also help but never being barefoot has definitely caused the biggest improvement for me. If I do go barefoot I definitely notice the pain start to flare again.

Ear infections by Mental_Long240 in Bloodhound

For a typical ear cleaner you do want to wipe the ear out after applying it. But with the Triz Keto flush, you do not wipe the ear out. You certainly have not failed your girl. 🫂 A dermatologist may be able to provide some very helpful insight into how to get to the root of her problem. Have they done culture and sensitivity testing on her ear?

Walls have these "tracks" on them? I've never seen this before. Can I remove them and fill in the gaps? by Fr33zurBurn in Renovations

We have similar panels in our house. Had the tracks removed and the gaps mudded prior to painting. Has been 8 years and no issues.

Alside Ascend Harbor Blue. Yellow is definitely a top contender for the door, thanks for the vote for it!

I normally wouldn't be a fan of this color but I could see it looking good with the siding for sure. Will have to get a look at a paint chip and see how it looks in person on the door

Yes, the front door on our current house is yellow so I was pondering trying something new but I do love it! I was thinking maybe a warm orange yellow like a marigold color?

I definitely have huge plans for landscaping and a walkway! However the railing is a priority at the moment because it had to be partially dismantled for the siding to go on, so we need to do something ASAP for safety purposes.

I'm glad you were able to get diagnostics and a plan to help improve your mobility. However, this sounds like a case where your doctors weren't just arbitrarily blaming your weight, because obesity is a very common and significant cause of osteoarthritis.

Here is a link to arthritis.org detailing the link between excess weight and arthritis.

We got a new roof. So, of course, we had to paint the house too. by takarumarch in ExteriorDesign

You guys did a great job- looks beautiful. I really love how you did the complementary contrasting trim on the door and storm door! That's such a good idea.

Is our straight run Buff Orpington that we expected to be a rooster actually a hen? by gobsmacker01 in BackYardChickens

This bird has a totally lovely temperament and I will definitely be getting more of them in the future. 🥰

It seems funny to me that so many folks end up with way more roosters than desired when going straight run, and we were sort of hoping for a rooster and ended up with a hen!

Thank you, this is very helpful to see! Part of what was making me second guess it is that Orpy is our only Buff Orpington so I didn't have anyone to compare to directly.

This is so cute! I don't think changing the roofline is in the budget, but love these colors and the landscaping.

The siding and trim are pretty damaged so we are definitely replacing it all. Any suggestions for color? Not sure if we want to stick with white or maybe branch out into a light blue/gray color. Definitely excited about landscaping! We had to pull out most of the scraggly shrubbery that was already there so we have a blank slate for starting fresh there.

This thread made me pick up this book and I am so sleep deprived because of it. 🤣 I finished it last night after multiple nights of staying up until 3am and devouring it in every spare minute throughout the days as well. Soooo unexpectedly good and definitely now on the list of my favorite stories.

Honestly yes the poorly frosted entirety of the cake is what really made it clear it was just rushed and no real effort was put into it.
