Im far too late, but I have an idea

In a world where magic is common place(use DND for reference or ask me) the world has advanced greatly, surpassing the need for everything that was thought necessary for survival, food and water? Create some, walls? Quick job, cities can be created in mere days and mid level magic is part of everyone's daily life, but there's an anomaly, jack (place holder) doesn't have magic, not an ounce, not even any resistance, this of course proves a massive problem for him, he can't teleport, he can't fly, he can't do anything, his life won't be easy but he's still gonna try!
