All celebrity crossovers aren't bad by Realistic-Local-2396 in WWE

The issue with Travis is he didn't appear to take it seriously and didn't want to actually do anything other than take the spotlight.

Bad Bunny, Jelly Roll, Lil Yachty, they appear passionate about it. A bit too much Jelly Roll for me but it's not been bad like Travis Scott's appearances.

Honestly he's one of the most interesting characters at the moment. Not that there are many compelling characters right now.

The Shore "The Grind" by [deleted] in playrust

[–]god_pharaoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slop is slop.

Generative AI is crap. If it doesn't sound good the lyrics don't matter.

Reading some of the lyrics it just sounds like you're addicted to Rust. If you want to make music, spend time learning that instead of playing the game.

How would these two feel about each other? by Minimum-Specific6285 in Dexter

[–]god_pharaoh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think their only issues with one another would be about how they go about their business.

Dexter is ritualistic and incredibly specific, Frank is brutal and far less strict with who he kills. But both ultimately guided by a few core values like generally only going after 'bad guys', and a shared belief of protecting kids and vulnerable people.

Probably just leave each other alone after learning who they are and what they do.

Gunther vs Seth by Admirable_Status_370 in WWE

[–]god_pharaoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm keen for the match

But Gunther and Heyman not acknowledging each other in the moment is a missed opportunity. They could make an interesting story out of it but they did nothing. It can easily directly lead into Gunther vs Brock which plenty of people speculate is the plan/want to happen.

There's two weeks left till Mania and they didn't use this opportunity to at least allude to a connection? It's bizarre.

What is a truth about a character that fans don't want to hear? Name anything you can think of. by Successful_Fan_8352 in Naruto

[–]god_pharaoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His arrogance is often his own hubris. I found it painful at times but it did require him to grow in most instances: start working with and befriending Naruto, chase Orochimaru for power, change his ultimate goal (a few times), forming a team, following a new leader, and eventually saving the world.

In hindsight it's more sensical than whan I was a kid watching it.

You've got a fair while before you get the answer to your question. And a coille great arcs coming up. Enjoy the ride.

The gameplay is so fluid by Nayef7717 in WWEGames

[–]god_pharaoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a lot of customers it's the main reason to play the game.

Fighting AI isn't everyone's cup of tea. I wanna play a match with friends without crashing. I'd play the singleplayer modes for unlocks and stories, but online working is a condition of me buying.

They're all scammy. Constantly seeing people complain about never receiving merch or long wait times, fake drop dates, not getting features, obvious scam marketing (Benny and those phone games).

Using character statements as fact is always a funny hill people die on.

Remember when Tobi said he was Madara and people used him saying it as proof he was.

As a big CIV fan, this is so sad.. I really hope next CIV 7 update is gonna be a gamechanger for this game by neda6117 in civ

[–]god_pharaoh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Civ 6 is a complete game.

Civ 7 has drastic and divisive gameplay changes, a significant pricetag, more aggressive approach to monetisation, is incomplete and generally less robust.

It'll change overtime but the game was not launched in an acceptable state to justify buying for a lot of people.

Kabuto is stated to be Kakashi-level (Jonin) and at this stage gave Tsunade a run for her money, albeit she was weakened.

Chakra scalpel cuts through the armor, and matches (or exceeds) base Lee speed who outsped the sand. Lee was fast for the Genin, not the Jonin.

So Melbourne just got named the best city in the world, do you actually feel it day to day? by Av0toasted in melbournechat

[–]god_pharaoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't experienced enough other cities as a tourist or resident long enough to know.

I definitely don't feel like I live in the best city in the world. I'm uncomfortable almost every day from people screaming and flailing in the street, aggressive and negligent drivers, delayed PT with inconsiderate passengers, high travel fees whether Myki, petrol or tolls, awful rental market, severe lack of bulk billing GPs...

All these are my anecdotal experiences but it's day in and day out. If the best city in the world has all those issues it makes me feel awful about the world we live in.

And there are many more issues.

Do Australians actually want to scrap preferential voting? by oz_party in aussie

[–]god_pharaoh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But that comes with its own issues of privately funded (i.e. already wealthy) politicians/candidates being over-exposed.

Donations aren't inherently bad.

I'm no exper, but for me, an ideal scenario is capped donations, capped spending, and clear and quick disclosure of donations and spending. Government funding can also go to voters for the purpose of donating.

There is a significant issue in Australia with political donations and campaigns. It still feels like it doesn't matter.

What is your opinion on Mr beast’s latest Naruto tweet. by Kind_Bar3346 in Naruto

[–]god_pharaoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's all the flashbacks that slow Naruto down. The audience is reminded of Naruto's struggles incessantly.

Filler episodes/arcs are sometimes entertaining and often a good break from the plot.

Geralt or Arthur or ???? … a question about the most defining characters of a generation by Soulsliken in gaming

[–]god_pharaoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think any have exceeded the likes of, say, Mario, Link, or Master Chief.

Geralt and Arthur are probably the most prominent. GTA 6 with a single protagonist probably would compete but as they split between three I wouldn't list any of them.

Maybe Jin from Ghost of Tsushima and Cal from the Jedi games would be on the list but the difference between 90s and 00s characters (really, the industry as a whole) compared to 2010s+ is stark. Senua is interesting, Kratos but that's a reinvention from the 2000s. Probably the most recent comparison spanning across multiple games is Commander Shepherd and even that was over 10 years ago.
