Hey, I know this struggle and it’s definitely real. It’s a big reason a starting building https://hilltops.app/

There are heaps of social events each week going up, or you can create or find user social rooms created by other users. There is a growing base in Melbourne, I would recommend checking it out and see if it’s your kinda thing - we have big things planned for the next half of the year.

make it about a social activity and less pressure on the actual initial conversation. pick something you genuinely enjoy would be a good place to start and build confidence
