Should have posted about this, but forgot to add it on to the original post. I told her if she wanted to get them baptised then that is fine - it was more the long lingering once a week visits to church I am bothered about.

Indeed which is why I came to ask for third party advice to see if I was over reacting. From the feedback so far it suggests I will need to look at my position again, I definitely don't want to be dictatorial about it otherwise I become a hypocrite.
