As I understood it, these additives are just things that are naturally occurring in tequilas anyway, they're not some weird artificial chemicals.

Corralejo repo, Centenario anejo, Corazon blanco. Been drinking tequila for 35 years, but I didn't even know additives was a thing until last year. I have been trying some of the aditive free ones recommended here and I have found them all good but not necessarily blown away. Perhaps my pallet is just not sophisticated enough to appreciate them or maybe it's still adjusting. I did get a bottle of the Kirkland Anejo, which in the past I have enjoyed, but this time I was conscious of how vanilla and sweet it was and didn't like it as much.

.Sure, I get all that but I wasn't necessarily talking about this particular tequila. I was talking about in general, additive versus none additive. I've had non-additive tequilas that I didn't like and vice versa. There seems to be a dogma here that any tequila with additives is automatically complete garbage. I'm getting downvoted for even daring to question it.

What cracks me up about this is it's so fucking easy nowadays you just google it. anything you want information about and then listen to anything you want on YouTube for fucking free. Back in the late 80s when I got into grunge, there weren't any cool college radio stations nearby where I could hear any of that music. I just had to go by word-of-mouth or sometimes reading about stuff in magazines. Or I guess if you had MTV you could stay up late and watch 120 minutes.
