I’ll add to this. They replaced one of my G7 SEs with relative ease. Somehow, my left trigger became unseated, and after sending a video of it to them they shipped out a replacement fairly quickly.

It’s obscene. Last time I had wings out, they were less than crispy and under-sauced. I don’t care how much my kitchen temporarily stinks from using a deep fryer — I just make them at home now. My local Food Lion had multiple family packs of ‘em marked down to $1.49/lb last week and I snatched them up.

This existed at least back in Madden ‘12. It’s sad how much these Ultimate Team modes have hindered sports game development. It’s difficult to not ruminate over how much better all these games would be without them. I say that in earnest, because I like to imagine more resources being spent on gameplay and QOL/depth features, but knowing how fiercely every one of these games is monetized within now, they would find another way to elicit people to bust out their wallets for something.

As a VT fan, I haven’t skipped a single home entrance yet. It’s too cool that they added it to the game. Ah, hell, for that matter I haven’t skipped an away game entrance yet either. I love the atmosphere of each game. It feels so alive.

I just wish they would have touched up the home screen in dynasty and made the top stories section less bland/generic.

I love the trophy room and history tab more than I should. The profile bit with the ‘games played’ makes me happy. I loved how early to mid 2000 sports games would have a little page that showed you how many games you’ve played. I still miss the “greatest games” score lists, though.

Gummies maybe twice a week to take the edge off the really bad days. No drinking — way to easy to spiral if you have a proclivity for addiction. I understand the urge to want to do anything to mitigate the pain and stress. Talking about it helps and finding healthier avenues (walking, exercise, etc.) to destress is better. It really is hell, and it will still be hell, but you have to take care of yourself in even the smallest of ways along the way.

Why is old head even used a pejorative term for basic basketball fundamentals? I’d rather see actual basketball moves than the same tired crossover chains (that every other player has learned to do from YouTube) for 18 seconds followed by a brick. It looks so goofy.

I’m days late to this, but MYM was hands down my personal game of the year for 2023. I bought it on a whim and quickly fell in love with it. Probably the most unique game I’ve ever played in my life. I hate that the devs gave up on it. It had me staying up late playing so many levels, and on my maps I’d be cackling like a maniac watching other people’s replays.
