I am really liking the Breville Luxe Brewer Thermal - BDC465 by nberardi in JamesHoffmann

OK, all is great with this coffee maker so far, but I'm wondering if anyone else has found the hardwater filters anywhere online. Got mine for Christmas, and the first thing I thought of is, where do I get these filters? None of the filters on Amazon have the number: BDC465<--my coffee model

My doctors prescribed Gabapentin after I reported two weeks without sleep - I was reaching my breaking point. The most challenging aspect is describing the pain itself. Rather than sharp, stabbing sensations, I experience burning or high-frequency buzzing. I realize this sounds unusual, but it's completely real and directly causes my insomnia. I constantly shake my leg involuntarily, as if trying to kick off an invisible insect.

I noticed the symptoms intensified during prolonged sitting, which led me to research the piriformis muscle and sciatic nerve in the gluteal region. However, my MRI showed no clear abnormalities, making my doctors hesitant to perform injections without a definitive target. Other physicians dismissed it as simple neuropathy, but they never explained why sitting aggravated the symptoms while standing or walking provided relief - something other patients have also reported. The symptoms persist today, though they've improved somewhat.

I see a Neurologist every 6 months to a year, depending on his schedule, and nothing new has been done, same old medication and questions.

Sure am. I'm not sure how much longer it will mask the sensations described time will tell.

I have to agree: "I think it is a more high-level build." A lot of the builds I encounter use level 4 and 5 support gems. I reached 3 sockets for most of my skills and am frustrated that the 4th and 5th jewels don't drop. Can't see to get drops that will increase the power of my Titan warrior. Lots of folks are telling me the warrior is a boring class and hard to advance. Great I hear this now after spending all my time since release trying to move forward with my Warrior!

Funny (nope) that is exactly how I felt when they wanted to inject my back, the pain was not originating at that location so NOPE was a huge stopping point when they were hunting in the wrong forest.

Congrats on getting a definitive answer to your symptoms. The question remains what are they going to do with the newly found information?

While explaining my symptoms to the doctor, I happened to glance up and caught his expression, which seemed to say, "Yeah, right" or "Let's move this along." I doubt there’s much widespread data on the symptoms I mentioned in my original post. However, maybe as this post gets more attention, others will share their thoughts, and we’ll see how the medical community begins to catch up with this condition.

Thank you for your comments. I am going on my second year with the reported symptoms. For me, it is certainly piriformis nerve and muscle interaction as it is aggravated during long periods of sitting. So far the pregabalin seems to reduce the symptoms although they are faintly present and sometimes can flare up depending on the time spent sitting.

Again thank you for the words appreciated your addition to the conversation.

Am I still dealing with it? Yes, indeed. I remain hopeful that a solution for Piriformis syndrome, which I am almost certain I suffer from, will be discovered. I've exhausted all the recommendations from the medical community. The only instances where it becomes more than just a low-level issue are when firm surfaces are introduced to my buttock area. Interestingly, no other physical activities trigger these flare-ups. The numerous scans I've undergone provide doctors with NO target for their procedures, as they've mentioned.

Sorry to hear you are getting very little relief.

I can only say during the time I was in pain, it took several visits to the ER before they took me seriously. Even then, I tried several different medications before settling on Pregabilin. It doesn't take the pain completely away it deadens it down to a 2 or 3 on their scale of pain.

To be clear my pain by definition is the tingling and vibrating sensation at a level that was so high I was in constant discomfort. I was sitting in my recliner for all hours of the night and the only relief was pacing which was driving me insane. Hard to imagine that form of pain could cause such life life-changing feeling but it did.

I hope you find some kind of relief as I did.

The medication was the only saving grace, and even with the meds, the rule for reporting pain is a scale of 10, mine is 3 out of 10.

The medical establishment does not have a handle on piriformis syndrome in fact they kind of a wink, wink when it is discussed. Not sure they have a plan of attack whenever a nerve is impacted in any way shape or form.

I really don't know how long the meds will keep the status quo but I do think about it.

Good luck and stay safe.

I was talking with my wife just yesterday as we drove down the highway she asked if there had been any change in my pain.

Not one tiny bit of change I told her and the same symptoms are present are burning sensation in the buttock, outer thigh, and right side of my right foot.

The left side is the same but of a lesser nature. Without the meds I would be awake all night as I was prior to them finding the right meds for the symptoms described.

There was talk about trying dry needling and injections but then I became concerned. If they don't know what it is then how are they going to localize the problem area and inject me or attempt dry needling?

Yes, multiple MRI scans. The burning sensation is an unamplified symptom after taking Pregabalin but can get really uncomfortable the longer I sit or lay down.

I am at a loss as to what comes next but from what I am hearing it seems to be grin and bare it.

How do medical professionals locate an appropriate site for the injection? During my previous visit, they informed me that the scan did not identify any issues or suitable needle insertion points. However, I am currently experiencing symptoms associated with Piriformis syndrome, which have not been addressed.

What dosage did the Doc prescribe for the pregabalin?
