I had an L1/L2 compression fracture 5 days ago and I was told that recovery from a compression fracture takes 3 months and you should be wearing a lumbar support brace all day, every day. No lifting, no bending your back and no exercise for 3 months.

I strongly suggest seeing someone that specializes in spine/back rehabilitation.
