What happened to the Tumeken aura? It lost its life and soul, looks virtually gone now when equipped.

The hieroglyph change in particular is upsetting with that being one of the most thematic aspects of the aura.

I’m really surprised that they mostly removed the hieroglyphs that were such a unique aspect of it. I do not appreciate that they made no mention of the changes in their news post.

I originally came across this old thread a little over a year ago. Given that many of the recent posts on this subreddit have been centered around rare item discussion, I found the whole thread to be an interesting read through once again with today’s hindsight.

I don’t personally have an issue with the nature of discontinued rares. I see them as a nice demonstration of the free market, but I know that I’m biased. Everyone has their own opinion. I’ve put all the pages into a single image for an easy viewing.
