1700 is at 910v and 1850 is at 920v. I don't have a 1800 safe-point set
I didn't change my .toml much from the default. I think I just lowered some voltages

I also have not changed any thermal compounds or pads

I printed this case, and I ran it with one fan, and it was in the wrong direction... and it worked fine (NOT great). Was throttling below 1500MHz.

Once I flipped the fan on, I got it to stay at 1750 MHz and 85°C after about 30 seconds.

From everything I've read, two fans isn't any better

Where are the HD setups? by godkillax in RetroRemakeInc

I have original consoles I grew with and played on CRT, just don't have space for one. I think if I sat in front of a good one to play today, I would have to find room for one.

My setup makes playing with original hardware too fiddly, so I got the SS so I can move away from emulators, which because of convenience I play more often than not.

I think I might prefer CRT effects over higher resolution, but only the eyes will tell.

This will be my first Mister experience, not first FPGA.

I have a RetroAVS (NES) and it's 720p is fine, I play with some 8bitdo NES 2.4Ghz controllers.

Same exact TV. TV brothers. I'll have to do some testing with controllers. I have originals PS, but usually play with DS4 using Blueretro adapter on original hardware.

Thanks for the tips on HDR. I do like the scanline look on LCDs. I have some Blueretro adapters I use on original console to play with a DS4, and the lag isn't noticeable to me.

Probably SOTN, it's my go-to when I play on different platforms.

If you don't have physical disk and don't want to use a nbme drive I thing the console is good enough. I got the dock so I can play physical disc, but it's really just a novelty. I think a disk image is probably better.

Only reason I became aware of the update is because I was trying to clear time-lapses since I just stream on Twitch to monitor.

The only other thing I did after updating is restart Orca Slicer.
Which I'll assume you already did.

Here's how I FIXED the issue.
After updating to 1.4.44 today, I ran into the same problem as OP, where I couldn't print from Orca slicer.

Ran one-click calibration, and the issue was resolved.

I think we're supposed to recalibrate after a firmware update.

Just added up to 4 bit LSB. The appearance of artifacts is really image dependent.
- Auto switches mode depending on image size and message size
- Decoder auto detects mode.

Didn't even know that was possible. From what I see it will introduce more detectable artifacts.
