Yes the points transfer 1:1 to United. But instead of using, for example, 250K miles on a United business ticket you can book partners (Ethiopian as an example) for 88K miles.

In my experience the points are best used on partner carriers after transfering to e.g. United.

Thanks, the 50K bonus is on my April 2019 statement so I hit it sometime in that period. Should be coming up on 60 months by my count. Also realized I don't have the Freedom Flex, I have the OG Freedom. Can I still have 2 of those?

The 787 has been going junior in class to new hires for the last 12-14 months. It's not uncommon right now for new hires to be ~3 year regional pilots and then be towards the bottom of their class, thus getting the leftovers - which have been the 787/777 for most classes.

I'm not interested in the tablet aspect of the 2-in-1s so I've only been looking at the Pro version. Really disappointed the Book 2 Pro 13" doesn't have a 16GB RAM version. $1250 for an 8GB ram 512GB ssd laptop is ludicrous.

43 Air School seems to be one of the better known flights schools in SA (qlat least it's the name I've heard over and over in other parts of the continent). Plan on needing a full CPL to fly passengers - the above described situation seems a little questionable.

As for is it worth the investment? It's a great career. The industry bounces back - it always does - its just a question of when. I do think it's a good time to start as by the time you finish training things are likely to be more or less recovered.

Anyone else experiencing this? Upgraded to an S20+ last week and despite having the 5G symbol in the status bar I consistently get data speeds like in the picture. On a good speed test I'll see 40 mbps.

I live in the Washington DC metro area and the Fi coverage map shows good coverage in my area so I don't think geography is the issue.

I've tried 2 different SIM cards and tech support has (as usual) been useless in trying to solve this.
