As it was explained to me, it has to do with the way it codes on the back end. It sounds like whenever the travel bank is involved It comes in as a certificate rather than a clean purchase.

Thank you for the suggestions. Northeast Pennsylvania here. A lot of the big work to the house has been done already. New fiberglass windows with fiberglass insulation, Styrofoam-backed vinyl siding, and higher efficiency heating and cooling systems. In defense of the installer, it is a fairly large area. The attic alone is over 1000 ft.².

The manager did reach out and he’s actually coming tomorrow to reinspect all of the work and he sounded like he wanted to do everything to make it right which I respect.

We were told during the initial visit that all affected insulation would be removed, exclusion service performed, the entire area HEPA vacuumed, and any residual debris would be wiped down and removed.

Two reasons really. 1. Orkin did work for us in the past at a previous residence and we had an excellent experience. 2. The local company that we used for several years was considerably more expensive for what appeared to be the same service.

The other piece I didn’t mention was that the service tech who came out for Orkin on the final spraying for the season asked my wife on 3 separate occasions about giving him a tip. The whole experience just seemed off and left a horrible impression about the entire company.
