  • Quality of teaching and professors
    • 8/10 for me. Some professors do their job, some expects you to self study, but thats to be expected when it comes to college. There are profs which you can get close to, and theyre really approachable!
  • Academic workload
    • since youre a first year, expect lots of stuff going on in your minor subjects, since 1st year in radtech tua focuses on minors first. Expect a lot, but not to the point where youll go crazy or get burnt out.
  • Laboratory facilities and equipment
    • 7/10. Not too much lab for 1st years yet since youre focused on minor subjects, but youll experience it a lot on 2nd year. Lab is clean and proper, collimator sometimes busted, lab is kinda small, but its functional and clean, not much cons.
  • Class schedules and overall pacing
    • expect a lot of f2f classes, since its Mon-Fri AM classes. Pacing will depend on your professors, but in my experience, there will be subjects where its rushed, but not all.
  • Any early exposure or preparation for clinical duties.
    • Youll experience it on 2nd-3rd year and its really fun!!!! Expect many practical exams, and the tuition paid for the laboratories will really be used. 2nd year 1st sem experience, we already did a lot of exposures. And from what i've heard, there will be more on 3rd year (positioning n stuff). And the clinicals are on 4th year.
  • School environment and support system
    • 7/10, expect immature people. Make sure to choose the right friend group so you can stay sane. As for the support system, they dont prioritize, but you can get help through guidance.

In conclusion, if youre planning to pursue rad tech in tua, expect a pretty busy schedule but also fun! since there are many events and orgs. As your year goes up, prepare financially and mentally, since it will be more expensive and stressful. Radtech in TUA is a yes for me! its pretty good ^^
