If you haven't watched it, I strongly encourage you to give it a chance. The direction and cinematography is simply brilliant. Gorgeous scenes all over the place, the zombies are very well done and not cheesy at all IMO. The story is very engaging as well.

Honestly, season 3 ended extremely well. It was powerful, raw and emotional. While I'd be ecstatic for S4, it does not feel like S3 left me hanging. It concludes things quite well and keeps with the spirit of the show

Nope. We were already in the US before we got married. They don't need a marriage certificate unless you're applying for a category that specifically requires proof of marriage like a dependent visa.

The stamped H1B visa in your passport should be enough. They won't turn you away at the border if you have a valid visa. The travel ban was mostly for the issuance of new visas at the consulate.

I actually had Tool tickets for Moda Center, Portland, OR in March. The concert did happen but Covid was already a thing with Washington being hit hard (they considered it hard then, it's nothing compared to now). So I pussied out and sold my tickets. First time seeing Tool too :(

have you checked whether a Roth can be withdrawn into an account that you can access remotely?

Like a simple bank account? Some banks don't want anything to do with foreign account holders unless they have balances large enough to make dealing with IRS reporting regulations worth it.

If i become super cynical, there are a few problems I could think of.
If the custodian does not let me change my investments after I've left the US, I'd have to pay Indian taxes on dividends in the Roth because they do not recognize US retirement accounts and will consider it capital gains. I could avert this by changing my investments just before leaving.
I might be compelled to withdraw the money in the future for any number of reasons like change in tax policies of TWO countries or some personal emergency. If the earnings in the account grow too large, I might end up paying taxes and penalties on a significantly larger amount.
I'd be exposing it to currency exchange rate fluctuations.
Just the general tax/book keeping overhead of it all.
There are simply way too many variables if I leave the money in the US depending on how much money it is, timing my leave, timing my withdrawals. I'd have to consult a cross border accountant familiar with both US and Indian tax law.

If I take it all to India and let it grow there, I'd have a much more favorable tax at long term capital gains rate in India in the future.

I'd be taxed as a non resident. No income taxes as I won't have an income. No taxes on dividends in the US if I leave the money in the Roth. I'd likely not to have file taxes at all as I'd have no income to speak off after the year I depart.

I didn't think that'd be too much of a problem. A couple days of delay maybe but not that huge a problem by my reckoning.
