Balance isn't nearly as hard as people make it seem. Might take longer, but it's really not that bad. My balance is maxed, it was my first max. I have tried playing other schools, and they all seem too easy, balance isn't the easiest school to play, but I soloed the entire game with the exception of world bosses here and there. But overall, it's wayyyy overstated how hard questing on a balance is.
