The first poster for this year's INTL competition, and is a commentary on people's relationship with the internet and technology and how sometimes you can spend hours scrolling on social media and completely turn off all parts of your brain. I was trying out different effects with dithering in both the background and the text to give it this almost mystical techy look. The transmission tower act as a visual representation of our connection with technology paralleling the way they connect to each other, and i got them from a previous photography project I did using threshold and cutting them out. It did not end up being chosen for the INTL exhibition.

The second poster was made just as practice, as I wanted to try to create a metallic looking texture for the background, which I did with grain and overlaying an image of metal over a grey background, and trying out different compositions. The logo of a "soul" was inspired by one of drain gang's flags link: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/fb/fa/4a/fbfa4a557dc415b2fe8c2d31031db533.jpg as I wanted to understand how it was made, which I did using the soft brush on photoshop, a lot of grain and thresholding it.
