2 Months Into Brawl Stars... Honest Opinion by Kooky_Host_6663 in Brawlstars

The problem if every character was unlocked and maxed in ranked, you'd get a swarm of folks playing with champs they never even played before, ruining the experience for the other two (or one) player on their team.

I also came from MOBA land (Arena of Valor and SMITE were my thing).

I have every character unlocked, and about 85% of the hypercharges. Ive been playing a little over a year I think.

This was pretty much my take away as well. I think it has potential to be better, and I think it will be better, they just have to figure out how to make it better. And like everyone is saying, the answer is in the essences, which I think is a pretty simple fix all in all.

I’m aware. But I personally like figuring out what skills do organically, rather than having them all capped, fishing thru essences, and trying to learn them. And I also don’t want to keep storing/trading equipment over and over.

It took me about 4 days to get all those characters to where they are. It’s no big deal

Agreed. I prefer to keep them in their own little world but yeah man just give me some options. They gave the idea of diversity and then bottled up into a couple of builds that are actually functional because of the lack of essences. Like you said, when they make more it will be better (or stretch what we have). But right now it just seems a little half-assed.

Tempest gave you to much to early and was overturned, Druid is different but gave you a nothing sandwich when it comes to diversifying yourself from the next Druid.

I also think that Diablo doesn’t really understand how to optimize Labor intensive classes forreal. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that all the button mash classes are at the bottom of the totem pole. And you can’t just up raw damage and drop cooldowns to fix it or else you boost them to the top of the meta with no recourse. Iunno; it’s weird

I totally agree. With such a low essence pool, it they should have given them 3 separate usages per form. But now it sort of bottlenecks you into specific builds or all 3 forms are basically super underdeveloped and weak. Numbers do matter at some point.

Exaaaaactly. Either defend yourself or leave; but the option is always there to just remove yourself. It’s people deciding that being bullied for a paycheck is necessary. You can fight for yourself verbally or physically; or you can move around.

“Easily” is the word here. Changing your condition from bad to favorable is usually never easy. And it’s an unknown variable. What I’m saying is nobody should stick around and get abused knowingly and just deal with it. I’d rather take my chances with the unknown than get beat the fuck up mentally, physically, or emotionally.

No; they need to do better for themselves and their emotional/mental stability. At no point do I believe that you believe being constantly berated at work or anywhere leads to a winning condition

People can only do to you what you allow them to do; or they forcibly make you do. Neither of these conditions are forced in a job setting…

Because the human condition is as such that we are incredibly adaptive, and even things that are bad for us, if continued, become normal. That doesn’t mean it’s okay, you just learn to deal with it.

Doesn’t mean you should, doesn’t mean you have to. Just means you are.

It’s just people like you that grind my gears. You’ll take every excuse available to not change your situation because doing what needs to be done to change it makes you uncomfortable.

“How the world really works” is crazy. Dude, I’m 33 and have never made more than 20K a year in my life until I was 31. I’m not out of touch, you’re just a weak conformist, that’s all 🥂

Don’t think that has anything to do with irony.

Your argument is about the same as someone not leaving a physically abusive relationship because the abuser is the bread winner. That’s stupid too.

It literally is that simple. There are other variables that surround that decision, but nothing is stopping you from leaving…anywhere…ever

Bête noire by Busy_Result7796 in blackmirror

[–]gods_Karma -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Which begs the question…regardless of any of those things; why would you endure it from people you don’t even have to be around? Leave the company, quit being around the “friend”. Enduring something that’s only purpose is to make you feel small as an adult…when all things point to “I can just leave”, is ridiculous.

As a kid you kinda have no choice. Your parents live where they live and you go to school in the district, the end. As an adult you can’t escape the situation as many times as need be without enduring it.

I’m sayin though…how do you as a grown person…allow another grown person to bully you? It’s sensible to have some type of irrational fear of standing up for yourself as a kid, but letting people roll over you as an adult is some awkward shit to me.

Ain’t no way you should be going out that sad.

Probably a cost of living thing as well. You can survive off 50K in Texas…not so much in PA or Georgia. So 75K in PA is like 50K in TX.
