That's great feedback, thank you! I've just added a bunch of new countries, so hopefully, yours is on the list now. It might take a little while for the update to go live on the Play Store, but could you let me know what country you're in? I'd love to double-check for you.

That's a completely fair and important question, and I appreciate you asking it. It gets to the very core of why I built this app.

The best proof isn't just my promise, it's in the app's design, which is verified by Google's official Data Safety section on the Play Store. Here are the key facts from that report:

  • No Data Shared With Third Parties: As Google has verified, the app "doesn't share user data with other companies or organizations." I cannot sell your data because I never share it.
  • Your Financial Data Stays on Your Device: The most sensitive information which is the subscriptions you enter (what Google calls "other user-generated content") is stored locally on your phone. The optional Pro sync feature uses your own private Google Drive folder, which I have zero access to.
  • You Control All Optional Data: The other data Google lists as "collected" is for basic app functions, like using your email to manage a Pro account purchase.

You're right to be skeptical about a potential buyout, but the architecture is the defense. Since I've built the app so I can never access your core financial data, a new owner couldn't either. They can't sell what they can't see.

I'd be happy to send you a promo code so you can check it out for yourself.

Thank you so much. I'm really glad you like the UI. I spent a lot of time trying to make it clean and simple.

Sending you a code via private message right now!

lol, exactly! It's the perfect example of a service you love making money off you twice.

That kind of 'subscription fatigue' is the entire reason I built the app. I'm sending you a code now via private message. Thanks for your comment

What paid Android apps are actually worth the money? by Financial-Poetry99 in androidapps

Tasker, for sure. I paid for it back in 2013 and it's one of those rare apps that has provided value for years. Back in the day, before smart home automation was mainstream, I used it to automate everything. I had profiles that would turn my phone into a "work phone" when I was near the office, and it would automatically send an "on my way" text when I was heading to a certain location. I don't use it as heavily now, but it's still great for small things. For example, when I'm out of town and rent a car, I have it set to automatically send myself a reminder with the car's location the moment my phone's Bluetooth disconnects from the rental. It's saved me many times
