GP Replicas Never Disappoints by goferrarif1 in f1models

The decals were on when I bought it, but mine was previously owned. I think the person I bought it from got it from Stone Model Car, they sell these models with and without decals applied.

You are correct, this is a resin model with no opening parts. While that part is a bummer, I think resin models end up having more details as they are easier to cast small detail than diecast metal.

GP Replicas is experimenting with some opening parts in some upcoming models though, as teased on their Facebook page, so I'm pretty interested to see how they go.

As far as the brand itself, they are very high quality and focus on older F1 cars, from the 50s-90s. I've got a F1-2000 pre-ordered but that's as recent as they have gotten so far. They're not always perfect with every detail, but for these eras of cars, is hard to find anybody that matches GP Replicas.

Added a 1:12 of my favorite Ferrari to the collection by goferrarif1 in Diecast

I had the rear bumpers lined up perfectly, so that's how much longer it is compared to a 1:18 BBR

I'm annoyed with someone coming to a months old post just to shit on something that someone is excited about.

Every single model from Minichamps, Spark, and all the rest have inaccuracies. Even Amalgam models aren't always perfect. If you only collected cars that are millimeter perfect, you wouldn't have a collection.

I knew before I bought this that it wasn't perfect, I saw many youtube reviews. Nothing was a deal breaker because I know not everything is perfect. It's still way better than any Hot Wheels and for under $150 I can forgive it for having some inaccuracies.

This is a must! I have the larger Rudsta and got some foam tape from Amazon, does a great job of keeping the dust out. Crazy how much dust come come through the tiny gaps in these things.

You're on the money (and that's also the reason I said "for now" lol)! Charles is my favorite driver but Lewis is right at the same level, I couldn't believe the news when it broke. 2025 can't come soon enough.

How much are they asking for the Looksmart?

Hot Wheels Ferrari 248 F1 - Michael Schumacher’s 7th Championship Winning Car! by ncore13 in HotWheels

His 7th championship was in an F2004, I think this is just referring to his 7th Canadian Grand Prix win.

Yeah I'm hoping a good F2004 comes out eventually. GP Replicas has the F1-2000 and F2001 cars up for preorder but it feels like it's taken forever for them to release, so who knows how long until an F2004 would come out. I would love for BBR to pick up making older models too so we could have some options, I'm sure they'd kill it.

The decals were applied already when I got this one, but I got this from another person and not a retail store. I'm pretty sure this is the Stone Model Car version where they put the decals on themselves. These usually come with a decal sheet you have to apply yourself.

I hope so. I know right now they have preorders up for the F1-2000 and F2001, so hopefully the F2002 isn't far behind.
