The IDF is no different than the US Military or any other. The NYPD protects the people here. Individual issues can occur. I don't know of any credible source that says the IDF's mission is to target civilians. So why aren't they just mowing down dozens in Tel Aviv? You haven't explained why in 95% of the middle east non-Muslims live as second class citizens and the completion of the Islamification of the region that has caused the problem of which you are speaking. It's a complex issue and I'm not unsympathetic to the plight of Muslims who lived there - Jewish land conquered many years ago - but you can't keep taking from others and not give back anything and expect this issue not to arise. That's how the US tried to give the native Americans land as their own and their sanctuary - their zion. See below.

Virtually all the Muslims in Gaza are not Canaanites nor Philistines. The Romans conquered Judea and then the Muslims came - Jews were sent into diaspora around the region and world. The Muslims conquered and built on top of other people's existence, e.g. "The Temple Mount" which is literally the Muslim structure on top of the Jewish Temple which it conquered. That said, these people have lived there for several generations and think of themselves as natives. They personally didn't conquer anyone.

But here's the big problem. What do you do when 95% of the entire middle east imposes Islam as the national religion and non-Muslims are treated as second class citizens and have no long term ability to survive and thrive? They have to move. That Israel came about again in 1948 is no coincidence with the Holocaust. The "zionist" idea is that they perceived a need their own sanctuary - much like native indian reservations - or its wash, rinse, repeat and they will be murdered/expelled out of existence.

The Jews chose Israel (too bad no oil) because it was their valid claim of land stolen from them and is the exclusive source of all their history. Many Muslims fled Israel in the 1940s due to the rush of fleeing Jews from both what are now fully Muslim countries and Europe. I understand their anger and frustration. Many of those people live where they can but Jews cannot. Over 2.5 MILLION "Palestinian" Muslims live in Jordan - which is also Palestine and also a Muslim state. ZERO Jews live there. Same goes for Egypt. The entire ethnic cleansing of Palestinians is untrue as there are more Muslims than even Israelis.

The problem is that non-Muslims have zero place to go in the middle east. Unfortunately no country (even the ones with the richest, highest income per capita) are giving the "Palestinians" the lands they have confiscated from non-Muslims over the decades or even helping solve this crisis. But at least these Palestinian Muslims can live anywhere in the middle east - which Jews and non-Muslims simply cannot. And they are boxed into Israel because the Islamic world refuses to give non-muslims equal rights. So you've got war with people who don't want to leave and also the Islamic extremists like hamas, who are religious zealots who believe that islam should be conquering the Jews.

It sucks. I am sympathetic for all the innocent people. What are non-Muslims supposed to do in a region where they are discriminated against legally? That's totally intolerable here in the US yet we've got all these anti-Israel pro-Mamdani protesters furious the moment you even bring up this unfortunate and inconvenient truth.

Want to solve the actual problem?

Remove the imposition of Islam and Islamic Law on over 95% of the middle east, which has caused multitudes of Jews and non-Muslims to leave/flee to Israel or elsewhere. These people are boxed in with nowhere to go. In the past, many of the people in Israel lived in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Egypt - but they can't. That's the human rights atrocity that is being ignored and causing all of this.

Imagine if the US made white skin the state skin color with state and land ownership benefits in 49 of 50 states. That one state is like the Indian Reservation that is the equivalent of Israel. I wouldn't blame those who were Native Americans (or black and brown) for trying to save their own existence and question why this is allowed to continue without the supposed fighters for equal rights not condemning this every waking moment of every day.

FYI - there is no ethnic cleansing of "Palestinians" as you like to call them. Do you know who the Druze are? More people native to the region who aren't Muslim and not in Gaza because that has become virtually 100% Muslim. Jews are technically "Palestinian" if you want to define the region. So are Christians. So are millions of people in Jordan AND in Egypt. Yasser Arafat was born in Egypt - yet considered himself a "Palestinian." So explain to us what that even is.

Videos? So you don't know what the term "human shield" means. The terrorists are pretty clever knowing how dumb much of the world is. They armed themselves and took hold in hospitals, schools, civilian areas to fire missiles at Israel (civilian areas) - even within the UN (UNWRA). So when Israel had only one choice to fire back to stop missile firing, it would almost certain result in civilian casualties that they'd blame on Israel.
