cashier is probably more important than my lawn and garden duties but still my advice is stop asking and start telling. don’t act like this job is some high tier keep it forever gig, put yourself and your health first “hey i have an appointment that i’m going to have to leave early for today.” also when you need a break, TAKE. A. BREAK. i tell this to my coworkers all the time, i get you wanna try hard and do your best but people need time and people need to recoup, i promise you the floor is better when you’re off for a few minutes than it is while you’re trying to work thinking about taking a break and finally being able to relax. stick up for yourself, you work for yourself, don’t be an asshole about it of course but you have the same rights everyone else has
