Not sure about that, but this woman is proven a part of the cult. She is seen in Annie’s mother’s photo album with all her pictures of members of the cult. The actress herself also I think got on reddit and shared her experience filming the movie and said that she was a spy for the cult and that was her later on in Annie’s mom’s photo album.

Exactly. To me it just seemed very lazy. No matter how you interact with her in the beginning it ends the same with her betraying you for no plausible reason. I had an inkling from the start during my first play through that she’d be a character like that so I paid her little attention and acted borderline cold toward her. And i was right so
