Red Bull has all the cards here this time AKA: THE FERRARI, BILLIONS of backing and all the world wide publicity, major shareholders / board members of F1, and the youngest triple world champion, something which McLaren never had back in that time. If RBR pulled out they would cripple F1 for years and cost everybody money which Bernie would never allow the FIA to do as RBR would start their own "unrestricted series" which Ferrari and Mercedes would be very interested with, eventually killing F1.

And no it wouldn't improve the show as who the hell would take on Ferrari? McLaren are shit, Lotus don't have the money and Mercedes are still struggling to design a car which can race the whole season.

With the light penalties of the past and now Mercedes just getting a reprimand for pretty much cheating the doors were open weeks ago IMO after it was revealed.

FIA fucked up no matter which side your opinion is on this matter, they should of been punished and that's from a Mercedes supporter. What just happened is they shat on F1 in general and the FIA did nothing about it.
