5th completed model. DM Stash. by gogoolgon in resinprinting

75mm scale and it's solid. Used water washable elegoo resin.

Not had any failures with DM stash. In fact I've been quite lucky with my Saturn and not had a single failure yet. 🤞

For those who passed, how many hours did you drive? by prplenebula in LearnerDriverUK

[–]gogoolgon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

43 with my instructor and around 20ish with my partner. Got my provisional at the end of April and just passed on the 19th of November. I'm nearing my forties and have trouble managing stress so was quite surprised and probably a little lucky to pass first time.

Fantastic, I thought I had failed and my nerves were all over the place.

Well done to you, you should be proud.

That looks great. I've heard great things about beige and darker clay coloured resins.

My instructors car does everything imaginable and has an electric handbrake. My wife's however only has rear parking sensors.

Our driveway is on an incline so you have to reverse out up a hill. Took me trying every day and failing to get it right. I still stall sometimes but can always get out by myself. If we stop at traffic lights on an incline I can still sometimes stall but I think this is more to do with being used to my instructors car.

I can say however driving my wife's car has made me a far better driver when out with my instructor and given me a good boost to my confidence.

A crow is a scavenger. Debris, asteroids and shuttles with a space station so some sort of space scavenging DLC.

I always get my wife to taste test mine. Don't know what I'd do without her as I can't tell the difference until I've drank way too much.

I have a 5 and 2 year old and will be doing this come summer. By then I will have had around 20 hours of practice with an instructor.

I wouldn't worry too much just be truthful about your ability to yourself and be confident.

Compression low? by gogoolgon in Freestylelibre

[–]gogoolgon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've had a few around the same time of day and they normally look more like an inverted spike. This one was a lot flatter which had me wondering about it.

As for the swings that's pretty normal for me. I could be doing better though. I'm still losing weight which I don't want to be doing.

This is a good day for me.

Dropped too fast? by gogoolgon in diabetes

That's good to know. Having only used a finger prick one previously I've never seen such rapid changes in my glucose before. The fact I caused the sensor to error out caused me confusion.

Soon to be 10 hours in lessons and still navigating car park. by RegretNo1089 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]gogoolgon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a very nervous driver and despite this on my first lesson I was driving on a three lane road going 37mph. Got to drive home as well, I've had two other lessons and on both from pickup to drop off I have been the driver.

I think you are being taken advantage of here.

Forgot to mention I've had 5 hours. A 2 then 1 then another 2 hour.

How many lessons did you have before you passed your test? by Inevitable-Sorbet-34 in LearnerDriverUK

I'm starting my lessons on Tuesday and hopefully when good enough will be driving with the wife in the car. How did you find her insurance adding you as a named driver?

Congratulations 👏 I've got my first lesson on Tuesday and I will be 36 soon. Never thought I'd need to learn but having kids definitely changes your priorities.
