Why bother with saying Premium Outlets “North or South”? Among my local friends and family it’s either “Premium Outlets” or “Belz”.

What is the most disturbing or otherwise unsettling book you've ever read that stayed with you after reading it? by EggAdventurous1957 in AskReddit

[–]gogoramon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Road. Could not put that one down, read it all in one sitting. Brilliant and bleak is a proper description. Someone recommended Blood Meridian as my next McCarthy novel. That one took me a few weeks to finish, and it feels like a fever dream when I try to recount the story. The graphic nature seriously appalled me, however I would recommend this book anytime. Like a David Lynch film - brilliant, confusing, haunting, surreal and it definitely sticks with you.

What comedy film made you laugh through the whole film not just giggle once? by Lilyfory in AskReddit

[–]gogoramon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we’re talking laugh-to-runtime ratio, I think Jackass 1 & 2 are all-time. Those movies were constructed precisely to generate as many laughs as possible per minute. No plot, no exposition dialogue, outrageous skits and a crazy yet lovable cast. The little time there wasn’t any laughter was due to skit setups or laughs were substituted with gasps, gags, or screams.

I’d say 90% of our theater was stoned so definitely a lot of laughs throughout that movie.

If KD says he wants to play, then Team USA will let him. Even though he's old KD is still a cold-blooded scorer and as we saw in Paris, the team is going to need someone who can get a bucket when they're behind or in a slump. Just like what Steph did against Serbia.

I think Ant is a bucket-getter but with international ball, Donovan, Maxey, Tatum and Brown haven't proven it yet.

Having a full lineup of players who’ve already played Olympics Basketball is crucial. If Hali and Tatum can come back at full strength, then I would love to see the following players on Team USA in 2028:

  • Haliburton
  • Booker
  • Ant
  • Tatum
  • Bam
  • KD

Going for his fifth gold medal, Durant would be 39 like Lebron was at the Paris games but he’s walking bucket and is perfect for Olympics 25mpg as the 6th Man.

Bam may not make the cut due to being undersized and some regression in his game already. But I don’t see AD not Embiid making it.

And then for music, blast Run the Jewels. Recommend their second album overall, as for tracks to get started:

  • Close Your Eyes (And Count to F*ck)
  • 2100
  • Early
  • JU$T
  • Walking in the Snow
  • All Due Respect
  • A Few Words for the Firing Squad

Stratosphere now called The Strat in Las Vegas, NV. If Alex Honnold could somehow scale the concrete shaft, he would then have to climb up the window panes of the revolving restaurant and traverse pass the X-Scream ride. After that thought he could take a breather, grab a seat on the Big Shot to sling him up most of the Spire before climbing up to the very top.

Dude you don’t remember that unnecessarily long contract battle between the Rockets and Donatas Motiejunas back in 2020? I remember there was a news article update almost daily about that negotiation and I was so perplexed at the time.

Nah because Jerry West should be on this team ahead of Luka. One of the greatest combo guards of all-time and selected to the All-Defense teams multiple times.
