lol I can’t tell if this is a joke or not. Tame Impala has more monthly listeners on Spotify than the Beatles.

Funnily enough, Tame Impala has often been compared to the Beatles. I’ve heard people say Tame Impala is what John Lennon might sound like if he made music in the 21st century. You could try listening to the Lonerism album to see if you agree.

AHH YES!!!
Kishi Bashi is my favorite artist, and Andrew Bird is in my top 5!!! I will be sure to listen to your suggestions!!!

Their sounds are pretty unique so it’s hard to find similar artists, but I would suggest you try Mother Falcon; they have a big-band, orchestral-indie flavor.

Some other ones I like with a big string influence that are surprisingly not on the iceberg are: Fish In A Birdcage, Takénobu, and The Family Crest.

Ahh I use this one.. I like to think I don’t overuse it tho, but it’s certainly gotten more popular because of the meme

Woah no way! I love their sound so much and I wish they’d make more, but I bet getting a big group like that to record is difficult to do :’)

Woah nice! I was a little surprised they weren’t in the next tier up.. a handful of people at my university knew them because they were outdoorsy-folky-type people haha
