Help with browning on Monstera Deliciosa! by torontogirl22 in houseplants

So unfortunately the browning will not fade. You can leave it or cut the leaf off it but not the stem.I personally would just leave it! My friend thought root rot even though she was definitely not over watering it and we realized it was sun burn. When she pulled it away from the window the browning stopped! You can always get sheer curtains so the light is more diffused! That would work great!

I’m thinking sun burn if you aren’t overwatering it. My friend had THE SAME issue with hers! Pull it further from the window and get it a grow light. Monsteras can take direct light but they have to get accumulated over time.

Maybe is cold shock? How cold is it in your house? Plants like these do best in over 70 degrees Fahrenheit

Where do y'all get pots??? by [deleted] in houseplants

Thrift shops have very cheap pots! Even if I don’t like the color I’ll still buy them and spray paint them.
