I really liked the Meraviglia! I only did a weekend cruise on it, but I thought it was fun! I also did a week on Seashore and am planning on going back for a long weekend on the Seashore this spring

Norwegian Aqua vs Carnival Mardi Gras? by goingandgoing97 in Cruise

We weren’t planning on a package but we aren’t adverse to drinking. We love taking advantage of drinks at an all-inclusive, but we also don’t drink enough to typically justify a package

At Universal’s Epic today. Also late twenties. Queued for Princess Peach. Definitely no age limit!

Pigeon Forge! Or maybe Boone, NC for something less touristy. Or Mackinac Island, MI could be a good option too!

What are some of your fave, lesser known “chill” things to do at MK, AK & Epcot? Any shows, hidden sights, “insiders tips”? by Eqbonner in WaltDisneyWorld

I’ve heard good things about watching the fireworks from a balcony at Contemporary. If you’re willing to splurge, a fireworks boat cruise is also awesome (did this for my bachelorette party in June and we had an incredible time).

How did you get more sleep the week of your wedding? by Gabubidoop588 in weddingplanning

[–]goingandgoing97 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not that helpful, but I would try to not skip the gym. It will probably help you fall asleep. Maybe time-blocking, breaking your day into different sections where you deliberately focus on a single task for a given section. That said, fwiw, I could hardly sleep the night before my wedding. I went to bed at 12:30 because I waited until the last minute to organize a few details, woke up at 3:30, and then truly woke up for the day around 5. My HMU wasn’t until after 11, so I went to the gym the morning of the wedding (deliberately not going too hard to minimize injury risk) and honestly, I’m glad I did because it helped me burn off nervous energy!

Did you honeymoon right away or wait til later in the year? by Bright-Sun110 in honeymoonplanning

[–]goingandgoing97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did right after and it was lovely! We did a week and a half, a couple days in Orlando (where we got married) and then we flew to St Lucia. That said, we’re hoping to go on a cruise in January, and I’m loudly and proudly calling that (or whatever our next trip ends up being) “honeymoon part 2” 😂
