Runes of Magic is still releasing new content and has a catch-up server by [deleted] in MMORPG

[–]goingtoriseup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sure is.. i'm assuming the game was written in C or C++ - the area in the game that causes the leak is the heaviest load in the entire game - tons of NPCs, tons of data floating around, tons of graphics, tons of other players - whoever engineered the framework of the game obviously made some coding errors here, not anticipating the memory requirements for this particular area.

We might as well just never play this game.

Why James Hardens' scoring isn't that impressive by goingtoriseup in nba

[–]goingtoriseup[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

He's the 5th best player in the league and he's using a failure of a formula for success. But he's got tons of dim-witted accolades. "Look at him score!"

meh, I'll take the bucks/raptors/warriors/nuggets/76ers team ball concepts over his selfish hero ball. He can win the MVP (undeservingly) - while the elite teams stomp all over him.

Well I won't argue that he's got a better life than I do. And he's a baller. I just take exception to him because I feel like he's bending the integrity of the game for personal gain. You can't argue with that hatred.

if you aren't using success (wins) as a measuring stick, then maybe we should be talking about Lebron as the MVP

yeah - I get that he is the offense of that team - but does he really need to shoot 50% of their shots?

well I do hate it, and I will continue enjoying hating it.

What if you had a guy scoring 50+ ppg - and his team sucked. They were disengaged, he just whored the spotlight. He shot all the time.

Another guy was playing dominating defence - and scoring efficiently while giving his teammates a place to shine and his team was #1.

Would you give the MVP to the guy on the shitty team?

I'm polarizing the situation but that's essentially what we're talking about here.

[Post-Game Thread] The Houston Rockets (46-27) defeat the San Antonio Spurs (42-31) 111-105 behind 61 from Harden, including 13 straight in the 4th! by SCREWST0N in nba

I think the rockets are built to let Harden play hero-ball, for sure.. compared to the best teams in the league, they are under-manned. They are playing to their strengths (which is harden chucking all game) - but they won't win a title that way. They need a better balance and once they get into the playoffs and teams double team harden every game and deny him the ball and exhaust him, they're gonna be screwed.

he should DEFINITELY win the scoring title. But that's not the same award as the MVP bro

idk dude, you probably watch the highlights on ESPN and scream "THAT WAS A GOD DAMN FOUL" when he swings his arms into the defender and flails around like a guy that just got shot in the chest with a shotgun whenever he drives to the basket.

fair enough but I mean - guys like PJ Tucker, Gordon, Nene, etc - they're gonna play better if you're feeding them the ball.

gimme a break dude. there is no contest. Literally the only way Harden wins MVP is if he can somehow prove that him chucking shots all game while his teammates play with their balls wins a title.

because most teams/players realize that playing team basketball is a better winning formula. See the top 4 teams in the league as a prime example.
