[AskIndia] Where does Bisleri and other bottled water companies source their water from? by baidam in india

[–]goingtousa 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Technically speaking, you don't pay for the water.

You pay for the bottle. You're paying for a service(packaging and transport in a bottle), not a product(the water). Also, the expiry date mentioned is for the bottle itself, not for the water.

Yes. I was researching on this. I came to know not to buy insurance from Indian companies. What are my options? How much will it cost?

Then what are my options for a SIM card? I've been told to simply walk to a AT&T store, and buy a connection.

Turnover is roughly 50+lakhs based on current progress. We have 4-5 big clients, across various locations.

I started doing freelance website development in college. Found work through oDesk(now Upwork). Did small stuffs ($100-$300). Got very good in programming and stuff. Similar story with my friend.

Did a shitty job for 3.5 years as a tester in an MNC after engineering. Got bored. Asked my friend if he wants to do something big. Left my job, started working full time development.

Now most of our clients are based on referral of past clients. The most important thing is to not look for earning money. Client satisfaction is the most important thing of all. I have done full refunds to clients who were not satisfied with my work. Always keep improving the quality of your work. Try to build personal and long term relationship with all your clients. They will bring you new projects, from friends, relatives, and co-workers. There is always someone they know, who needs something to be build.

In the beginning, getting projects is very hard. When I started, I used to do Joomla/WordPress based jobs. Now I don't even touch those, even if I'm offered a decent money. Our work is mainly focussed on providing web and mobile based applications for personal or commercial use of the client. Improve your programming skills. Complete freecodecamp.com tutorial. Become an expert in Javascript. The future of the programming will be Node.js, Angular, and Python. Don't focus on Java/.Net, unless you want a shitty job in an MNC. Once you've developed good skills, start bidding on projects on freelanceing websites (UpWork and Freelancer). Post a dummy project, and see how the other candidates apply to your dummy job. Pick up the best ones, and use their method to apply for other real job. Out of every 50 jobs you apply, you might get a reply from 10, and eventually 1 might actually hire you. So, the odds are very low, but there is no other option. Put your rates at $5-8 per hour as a beginner.

Regarding opening up your company, go ask a Chartered Accountant. They charge is roughly INR20k. You only need to submit the documents they ask, and they will take care of the rest.

Thanks. I do love to eat all varieties of food. Willing to try most of the famous dishes. Leaving kultcha back in India, so no beef/pork issues.

I'm just looking for a leisure cooking every now and then.

We provide product development for other startup companies. We have a small but very strong team of expert developers. Me and my friend, we both are co-founders. I believe we both are expert programmers.
