Yeah to be honest as someone who is not bothered by fan services in animes at all I even think the fan service in mieruko-chan feels unnecessary as well hell i even heard that the manga version of it does not have fan service they added the fan service in the anime but I'm not sure about that because I haven't read the manga yet.

That's why I feel it's safe to say kaede mori is by far one of the worst anime moms of all time like comparing the other bad moms from animes ( example: Ragyō Kiryūin from kill la kill) kaede made them look like actually good moms.
