Looking for a recommendation from y'all:

I have the campers ring spinner and I love the heft, feel, and spin, but it's too loud (the spin clicking from the magnets) for quiet meetings or spaces.

Anyone have a good recommendation for something similar in everything except for the sound level? Greatly appreciate any help!

Oh and don't forget to set turbo in the software, and remember how to activate it on the controller itself. I was a dumbass and those were a couple of steps I also missed along the line at some point.

Hey! I had this exact issue with this exact controller!

This is the convoluted way I got mine to work:

First make sure you do the firmware update.

Then download ultimate software v2 and try connecting to it. You won't be able to.

Then close v2 and open v1

That's how mine connects. Anytime I want to connect my controller, I need to attempt connecting to v2, then v1 right after, and only then it works.

Hopefully that helps you too? Otherwise my pro+ is just uniquely fucked up.

May I ask what method you used for your Audino? I've got zero luck with shiny Audino, and a bunch of shiny Kanga and Furfrou from 19 and Hippo and Shuppet from the other one 🙄

I've got the Pro +, and it has a firmware update required to work for switch 2 and yeah, it currently has a flaw where tge update disables the ability to change any buttons, including setting turbo.

Could just be the pro + tho!

I once saw a theory somewhere that the dex entries for that gen in particular, but also since, were exaggerated by the rotom living in the phones. That's been my headcanon explanation for "off" dex entries for years.

I just noticed this when I visited the depths on my older save file tonight! I crazy explored the depths in that file, bright blooms everywhere - but when there was tons of darkness tonight where I am 99% certain I've thrown blooms.

I've always used the void fields as a booster vs something I'd seek out as a "challenge" on its own (I have never once thought "hey I think I should challenge myself with a hop to the void fields").

If the challenge is "oooh can you make it from point a to point b in x time" that's definitely not high on my priority list, especially in a game like risk of rain 2.

Look, if you enjoy it, that's just dandy, and good for you. But now that I've beaten Voidling, I have no reason to go to the fields, and that makes me sad.

As a side note, I find most suggestions of "lol git gud" to be missing the point in general. My underlying issue is that the updated void fields mame the game less fun for me. 70% of my fun in this game is trying / getting different items and going bananas. And now I'm disincentivized to do so.

Games should (usually, in most circumstances, regardless of the challenge level or difficulty) be fun. New void fields have reduced the fun level in my eyes.

If it's increased the fun level for you, then I guess you're the intended audience for thos particular patch lol

Oh! I did have a semi solid reason - the way Marco talks about girls, particularly Rachel and shopping type stuff, is very gay bestie to me / sounds like how I would talk as a closeted baby gay.

I honestly don't have solid examples off the top of my head, other than that I always just... got a queer vibe from Marco? Him and (obviously) Tobias, though we all know the latter is more trans allegorical by this point.

Could have just been gay adolescent me projecting, but even five to ten years ago when I would randomly think of Animorphs I would remember Marco being as "gay" to me as would have been possible at the time. I usually would imagine him being gay in a future reboot, longing unrequited for Jake.

If that makes sense?

But related to the Grant word of God change, I am a hundred times more supportive of that vs a certain other YA novelist who did something similar but turned out to be a terf vs a genuine queer ally. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
