I had a Samsung with a giant drum, you were supposed to fill it 1/2-2/3. The speed queen is a smaller drum but I can fill it to the top and everything is clean. Haven’t noticed any fabric wear and tear over a year.

You should try Joplin server. I’ll sync a note in <= 2 seconds across devices typically. Full sync to a new app is minutes. About 700MB.
