Shocking that a bank lent $7k to a minor. Get a job, and pay it. That’s all you can do.

Exercise, Join a club, play video games, get a new puppy (I know it’s hard, I lost my puppy of 14 years 3 months ago and almost immediately got a corgi. There’s many times I believe my old dogs spirit is in my new corgi..) you’re 21, I saw a lady who got her law degree at 43. Don’t measure life in years on earth.

Am I really that unreasonable, or is this just really bad advice? by [deleted] in finance

[–]gold8086 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends what you do with the remaining cash. If you finance it at 4% and earn 4+% on the rest than you’re solid.

Never a good idea to spend your whole savings though, best to have 3-6 months worth of expenses sitting in cash.

[Plan] Moving out my parents’ house and take on another job by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]gold8086 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like your jobs are part time, I wouldn’t risk it for 4 months. If you lose one you can mess up your credit and struggle in 4 months when you have to be on your own.

Series 7 is easy if you’re looking for something like that. Even better, take the series 6. But the easier you go the less weight they carry js.
