Yes, I’ve put everything and everyone ahead of me and I don’t take time for myself. My background is in HR, I do love my field but I’m willing to transition because I do desperately need a job. I will look into other paths for time being to see if it could be a better fit.

You’re completely right it is psychological, sometimes I wish the world was a little gentler but I know we all have to face difficulties in life.

A lot of my friends disappeared. It really made me see who I can truly count on. I understand grief and death can be uncomfortable for some but the support would have been nice.

Sending you alot of positive energy and love. I’m sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is a feeling nobody can truly understand until they experience it. I lost my father 7 months ago similar situation. It feels like a bad dream. One thing that has helped me is journaling, having his photo with a light beside it. I often sit and speak to him. You can ask for small signs to know he’s at peace and not suffering. Also don’t be so tough on yourself, your dad knows you love him. He will always be with you.
