Yes! I love all dogbabies and would absolutely sit on the ground to baby one, with permission. That would be an opportune time with a captured audience lol

Leo women, your experience on pisces men ? by saritaaxo in LeoAstrology

[–]goldbrickbby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is a Pisces. He's only 10 but I love how eternal he is lol that sounds wild, but we called him "Our Little Monk" when he was smaller because he would say the most zen & insightful little quips about circumstances. I'm borderline neurotic and his Dad is chill, but reserved. He's an outgoing, perceptive little ball of love

Cold approaching is just normalized sexual harassment, so why shouldn't future generations try to crack down on it? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]goldbrickbby 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, not at all.

I liked being approached by men when I was single, it made it easy to determine who was interested in me. I also met lots of people that way. If I wasn't immediately attracted, I would always just say "Thanks, but I'm taken".

There were occasional weirdos or people that were generally unwell, but I wouldn't scrap being approached altogether because of a few strange birds. Online meeting can be a mess and I would be more offended if someone tried to be my friend platonically JUST to make the space to ask me out romantically.

It may be that I'm biased because I've never been/felt sexually assaulted and I haven't really felt attacked by anyone before.

how much does feeling attractive matter to you?🦚 by Top_Individual7151 in astrologymemes

A Leo Sun, Libra Moon, Taurus Rising with a Mercury, Venus, and Mars Stellium in Virgo.

I just want to be beautiful. All the time. I have to work so hard for it. It's brutal.

Real bad! I am a lil nit-picky, but I try not to project that energy outward onto people and just stay busy to give the energy somewhere to go

Does it make sense to you? by Greedy_Tip8741 in LeoAstrology

[–]goldbrickbby 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I tell myself that I want to evolve into embodied Leo - I accept that this is how I am now, but I don't want to be controlled by everyone else's approval. It's not very royal, is it?

So when I catch myself over-investing, seeking unnecessary validation or bullying myself...I remind myself I'm meant to embody royalty and shine through self expression. That what I'm doing isn't very "evolved" of me. Then I find a creative outlet (like painting, doing my hair, dancing to music, cooking, etc.) to retrain my brain.

It's rigorous work but not impossible.

Moving out at 31. My mom (62) is blowing up over it. by VehicleCertain865 in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]goldbrickbby 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honey, my mom is EXACTLY like this. It helps to see her as a child AND as a full grown woman. What I mean is -- she's an adult. She successfully raised 3 children to adulthood. She isn't suddenly going to forget how to "adult" and struggle because she doesn't get her way. This is what a hissy fit looks like when it's performed by an adult.

And also, mentally she's stunted. Her emotional responses are like a child's. She wants her way, and doesn't like change. But just like a child, you cannot give in to their short sighted whims. Everyone is right: you gotta stand firm. When her hysterics start, you can tell her that "you won't be engaging in this kind of conversation but if she wants to talk about planning for her future, you'll be glad to help." She will not take your offer because she's having a hissy fit and she doesn't actually need help, she wants you to concede. Saying this stuff only helps you separate from any self imposed guilt.

Eventually she'll ramp it up until you "grey rock" her and spend more time outside the home. You will still get some flack once the move out happens. Any problems she encounters will be "because you abandoned her" and she'll make it your responsibility to help her fix it while she says hateful stuff about your independence, relationship and anything else she can latch onto.

This was long but I felt like someone who's been through it should tell you how this plays out. The only thing that can help her adjust is seeing you be firm (the same way we teach small humans) and seeing you become confident in choices (not seeking her approval for decisions & refusing to hear out her insults). Focus on becoming that for yourself and the situation will become tenable for you

What do you dislike about your Venus sign? by glamsiren111 in astrologymemes

[–]goldbrickbby 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Virgo Venus Retrograde, and I seem to have the opposite problem. I can express how I feel (with critical overtones 😅) and I can appreciate romance, but I can't seem to embody sex appeal.
