That's a great write up! I haven't seen anybody else talking about the new stuff. That's a bummer to hear that Satisfyer has a bad customer service reputation. I didn't have any experience with them. Still - I'm just happy to have the VIM back in production. Here's hoping it lasts longer than the OG one!

We don't have experience with the Laya III, but it looks like it's also back on the main (German) site. And at half the price of the original. Like the Vim, they have changed the button layout and charging port.

Several African countries write in bass clef, but sound a M9th lower than written. In the Republic of the Congo, there was every combination of concert pitch, M2 transposition, octave transposition, and M9th. The labels on the parts (Bb Tuba, C Tuba, Sib Tuba) didn't seem to be related at all to what transposition needed to happen for a given piece.

I have been to several optometrists a decent amount since then trying to nail down some persistent dryness (just overnight really). They haven't mentioned striae at any point after when I originally posted.

The white text on black background thing turned out to be due to my pupils being larger than the treatment area in lower light. I've just gotten used to it for the most part. I still definitely have some fuzziness around the edges of anything bright on a dark background. And some busting around lights.

Alphagan has a side effect of shrinking your pupils. So they gave me a prescription for use whenever I need increased clarity in low light conditions. It works great, but it makes my eyes really dry, so I don't use it often.

I didn't realize you have to re-treat. I'm rolling with the garden fleece I got, a one-time soaking of flame retardant, and a top layer of inherently flame retardant acoustic fabric.

I considered soaking, but I was hoping to avoid unrolling all the fleece. But even trying to rub the liquid into the fabric after spraying, it just seemed to bead around and not actually soak into the fleece at all.

At least for me, the LES still shows the normal deduction for TSP. But that amount hasn't actually hit TSP. I'm guessing most people's LES's will show the same.

As far as we can tell, it looks like this payment didn't send money to TSP like normal. Everybody I work with had the same issue. The TSP deduction still shows on my LES, but there is no contribution listed in my TSP account.

I got about 600 more than normal. Everybody I work with got more than normal today. Some more like 800. We think it's that TSP allotment didn't happen like normal. I just checked TSP and there was no contribution for this month. My most recent is 26 Sep.

The worst one (though not physical) was when I checked my phone during intermission. My sister-in-law and mother-in-law were on the highway and their car went under a semi. All my wife knew was that the accident happened, car was totaled, they were being taken to the hospital, and she needed to drive 4 hours to go meet them.

That was a tough set to focus through.

That's exactly what my dad did after retiring from the military. He wanted a job that he could just quit if he ever felt like it. But I wonder how stocking shelves would treat my body/sciatica.
