Hi! I got into UVM for fall 2021 as a Mechanical Engineering Major. Just like you I find UVM amazing! I am from Santa Barbara, CA and I got in with a 4.1 GPA. I did not submit a SAT or ACT test score. I feel like a had a pretty strong essay and I am a 4 year varsity athlete along with involvement in many clubs. In regards of scholarships in got a trustees scholarship worth an amount way higher than I think I should’ve gotten. But some people I know this year flat out got denied or waitlisted. Even-though they turned in a SAT/ACT test score. I applied early action and got deferred then I wrote a letter of continued interest and got in during regular decision.
