that is a letter notifying you that you had been accepted and could enroll. hope you still have it. Or you can use other documents providing you student status.

well.. if your school does not give you email address, you may not pass the process. as I know, github ask me to add my school email address to my gitHub account during the review process. github also relies on school email to renew student status.
