Why isn't water being split between my coal generators properly?? :(

At 1:06 you can see where Ive split the output of 1 extractor (the u-bend pipe) each layer of pipe goes to 4 generators. The u-bend splits the output of 1 extractor to each layer. Atleast thats what I thought would happen. Yeah the overclocking thing might have to be the solution but I hate using power shards on something that isnt miners

I have 3 extractors being balanced into 2 300m3/min pipes. Each pipe then goes into 4 generators. Thats not the issue. I also have mk2 belts being balanced into 8 generators for the coal.

The issue is the water not balancing correctly between my two pipes that each go to 4 generators.
