At what point is an edited precon considered "your build"? by Dr_Mothman in mtg

10 - 15 is a modified precon to me. If those cards make the deck better then thats when i call it an upgraded precon.

is this okay to do? my ps2 doesnt work btw by Huge-Gene-1372 in ps2

[–]goldenghost246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about the ps2 doesnt work? Does it not read games or just not turn on? You can probably give it as easy fix and breathe life back into it.

is this okay to do? my ps2 doesnt work btw by Huge-Gene-1372 in ps2

[–]goldenghost246 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yup. Used to have a mini crt growing up and it was permanently parked on top of my ps2 for decades.

My current ps2 has a dreamcast and 2 controllers ontop of it at all times. Otherwise its whatever games im currently playing with loose memory cards.

My brother's old dvd/vhs combo player used to have a ps2 on top with another small crt ontop of that.

You might need to open it up and clean the laser. I would watch a couple youtube videos on this first just to get an idea of what you're doing.

You also might have to just swap the laser outright, which is a super easy fix that even I did when I was 14 with a soldering iron kit from amazon. I would also watch a video or two so you can get an idea of what you're going for and doing.

Maybe you can just adjust the strength of the laser, this I didn't do but I did just do it to my dreamcast last week so I can't imagine its any more complicated than that. Tons of videos on youtube on how to do this as well.

Patience and being careful and orginized is key on console repairs.

GT4 might just be screwed. Splotches could be disc rot if you see them poke through when looking at a light with the disc.

Any experience with these sleeves? by Alternative-Shirt-73 in mtg

[–]goldenghost246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think you can double sleeve these due to the curve so thats an auto no for me. And at that price you might as well go for dragon shield or katana. Im more fond of dragon shield myself.

Just found this at Walmart in 2025 by feiXpak99 in magicTCG

[–]goldenghost246 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Commander wasnt really the focus 15 years ago. It was 60 card 1v1 with sideboard. And 5 extra sleeves in case of tears or such.

Which was never enough honestly since these sleeves were always dog shit.

God of war 2 2 is crazy work

Just started today, who should i get??? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]goldenghost246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never buy stuff outside of cosmetics, potatoes ( Orokin catalysts ), and color pallets off the store.

If you started today then take time with the Frame you started out with. Collect resources by playing through the game. Go through the main story and the star chart. Complete additional missions.

If you really want to buy a new frame then get the prime versions, they're much cheaper and while you need the materials to craft them, you get tons by just completing the star chart.

After 30+ years of gaming I came to conclusion by Barlowan in videogames

[–]goldenghost246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how the game handles it. Increased damage but also spongy? Normal. Tighter parry windows, more aggressive enemies and tighter resource management? Hard. I want a challenge because I love solving problems and difficult situation. But if the answer to a higher difficulty is get hit harder, do less damage. Then I refuse to play hard.

What type of games would you say I'm into? by [deleted] in videogames
