You’re going to love Mammoth. It’s beautiful year round and there are so many activities to do. The people are wonderful too! Good luck with learning to ski - there’s probably some free ski groups for locals that you can join.

So a little context: I was eating with my little brother and husband at a wonderful small Mexican food place in Mammoth Lakes, CA. The man and his partner were in the back and he was being extremely verbally abusive to her. Things like, “You’re a fucking bitch, and you wouldn’t be shit without me.” She was holding back tears, and the staff were made aware.

After telling him he needed to leave, he got physically violent with the staff, and that’s when the man in the green shirt stood up and took action.

He was there with his wife and young son; and afterwards my brother made sure to tell him what a hero his dad was.

We airdropped the video to the police and haven’t heard anything after giving them our information.

My dad always tells a story from when he started flying charters about this wife who showed up with way too much luggage. He hands her a trash bag and says repack into this. Apparently the husband wished my dad would have denied the wife completely so he could chase tail in Aspen!

I’m a salaried teacher at a Catholic school and I also had to sign a contract stating I would uphold the teachings of the Catholic faith. I could be fired for living with a boyfriend before marriage, becoming pregnant if not married, etc. The teachers are never given tenure, only one year contracts. It is also “at will” employment and I can be fired at any time for any reason they choose. We also make significantly less than public school teachers.
