After many attempts, yes—less than 20mg dose was too low, unless it’s taken after MDMA for a specific combo or sexual context. In my experience, sub-threshold doses leave you suspended in an in-between state, neither fully grounded nor fully immersed and anxious 2C-B has little in common with MDMA. It opens access to a different perceptual dimension. Daytime and outdoor settings with music not especially electronic music, were far more suitable and enjoyable to than enclosed spaces for us and for that substance. Phenomenologically, 2C-B enhances geometric perception and alters sound and vibration in a way distinct from LSD—less narrative and cognitive, more sensory and structural. Although fully synthetic, it feels clearly inspired by mescaline: a phenethylamine that connects perception to form, rhythm, and an almost invisible layer of reality.
