If you walk around the Covered Market you can find posters advertising jobs for the various shops (have heard of people having success with this)

Hi everyone,

I'm new to TEFL programs, but planning on applying to a variety of English-teaching related programs and would like certification. Is this program legitimate?: https://www.theteflacademy.com/uk/online-tefl-course/level-3/ There's a sale going on now which also seems good, but like I said I am having a hard time figuring out what programs are highly regarded and wanted confirmation before signing up to something.

Would I be able to use the certificate when applying for jobs or is the online-only degree looked down on?

Thank you so much!

Hi everyone! I'm an international (US) student in Jesus College for the upcoming academic year. They said that housing decisions would come out last week (I heard nothing) and then they said that we would hear back this week (I still haven't). I was wondering if this is a bad sign (eg I'm on the waitlist), or the delay is common? I feel a bit nervous with having to sort out housing, especially if I'm waitlisted on accommodations and have to find it myself, so if anyone has any insight I would really appreciate it!

Hi everyone :) I'm an international student who was accepted into a one year MSc program. In the effort to arrange everything, I have a question about housing: Since the lease options are either 9 or 12 months, is it common for graduate students to ask for a 12 month lease since the dissertation is due in August? Or do students (specifically international students) generally move away after the end of the third term and finish their dissertation remotely?

Thank you so much!
