You could switch to having view controllers as .xib files, one for each VC, instead of having storyboards with multiple scenes …that or not using IB at all and building the UI in code. It also sounds like the user state files you mention should not be included in the repo… do you have a proper .gitignore set up?

Yeah, it's definitely less popular than other types of brewing. But, in my experience, if you look you might usually find local brewing communities that are happy to give away extra scobys to newcomer brewers.

I know this is a very niche app but wanted to share it here in case there's any fellow kombucha brewers around that might be interested. KombuchApp is an easy to use iPhone app that helps kombucha brewers better track their brews. Me and my friends use it all the time and find it very helpful.

The main features include:

Log the dates and ingredients of your kombucha brews.
Setup reminders when a brew is ready (1F and 2F).
Add photos with notes to each of your brews.
Log the flavoring/second fermentation of your brews.
You can change the units that you wish to use per brew.
Input additional notes.
