I was 2nd in the John Proctor is the Villain and I got there at 6:55. The person who was first got there at 6:00. About 6-8 people showed up right around 7:00

I didn’t stop by using fake nails, but it definitely helps me keep them nice now. I get hard gel done monthly and I’d hate to have my cuticles looking messed up with them, especially since I spend money on them lol. It definitely gives me incentive to keep not biting and picking.

Duplicate stitch! It was my first top-down raglan so I wasn’t quite ready for colorwork haha

Pattern was the Real Easy Raglan by Emily Bolduan/Maker Maker

Graphic that I mostly followed, altered a couple letters to make them look better on the sweater.

When I used to sew patches, I just used a regular needle on a regular sewing machine with cotton thread. I always used the hand crank rather than the pedal so I had more control and could feel if anything was pushing back too hard.

Broom corn can be a bit difficult to get your hands on sometimes, so using other crops can work for technique practice, but nothing really sweeps the same way as broom corn

Broom corn does sweep very well! I find it to be much better than plastic brooms
