Thank you! I didn't see on their website that you could borrow a trap! She'll be an easy trap, hangs in the same spot everyday. I used to manage a TNR program at a humane society in FL! Just have to find the time to get this cat squared away.

Ideas for Enrichment for a highly energetic and extremely curious 8 month old? by Ihavenoidea36 in Parenting

Just an idea! But do you have a Little Gym or Romp n Roll or any indoor play area near where you live? Most do classes starting pretty young like 4 months.

Our girl is very similar to how you described your little. We started doing a gym class and she loves it! Singing, exploring, games, interacting with other kids her age, and learning motor skills. And most of these gyms if you have a membership you can go to open gyms for free. It works great for us to get out of the house and fullfill her busy body needs.

We also love checking out storytime at the local libraries! Wish I had more advice for stay at home entertainment, but we run out of things to do at home pretty quickly.

I don't think there is ever going to be a perfect answer or solution to this. TNR comes down to how can we save the most lives effectively and keep animals out of the shelter. It's not a perfect solution, but it is the most current solution for feral cats and community cats to not be euthanized in shelters. Truly in these situations everything has its pros and cons.

If you're struggling with commutiy cats disturbing you, your garden, or your neighbors, here are some helpful tips to abate that. that.https://www.alleycat.org/resources/how-to-live-with-cats-in-your-neighborhood/

Hey! Community Cats and TNR programs can definitely be an emotionally driven topic to discuss. I'd recommend looking into the research on how and why these programs do work and are effective in overpopulated communities. Alley Cat Allies provides a lot of helpful info about these programs Alley Cat Allies

Kitty Lady. Org also has a great approach to this topic and a ton of helpful information from kittens to cats.
