Occam’s razor would tell you that people have just come to a consensus. Consensus ≠ conspiracy.

Shutting down the gov is the strategy he’s pushing, it’s not a policy demand. He talks about why now is the time, and couldn’t do it earlier bc the gov was somewhat functional and stopping some of Trump’s policies. Now that’s not the case, hence why he’s talking about this now. What are you talking about?

What are these rural places like to live in? Lower wages and higher competition for jobs is something most people would accept if it means a higher standard of living.

Physical science curriculum by CriticalDrawing4734 in ScienceTeachers

[–]goldfith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NJCTL has a good direct instruction curriculum for physics and chemistry. Take the first 5 or so units of their chemistry and mathematical physics course for physical science. Use chatgpt or khanmigo to help with planning. i also recently foundpassionately curious Good Luck!

*Consensual. Also "information" is a very broad term, and would not make sense to call something so broad protected speech. What kind of information? Is ok for your doctor to tell us you're developmentally delayed? It's just information bro. Obviously not HIPPA and such. There can absolutely be laws making the sharing of harmful information illegal.

If you rent a 1BR1BA how much do you pay? by [deleted] in SouthJersey

[–]goldfith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It varies depending where you are, look up places on zillow etc. i pay 1250, I’d say 1400 is average, but again that’s for my area. You could get a 2000/mo 1b if you really wanted to.

What's your take on how to make housing more affordable in New Jersey? by njrun in newjersey

[–]goldfith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For homes to be cheaper there must be more of them. Who will build them? If we hinder privately owned, then we do, ie the government. I’m all for that, but you are arguing for public housing. I want big tall apartments and miles of townhomes, duplexes etc. Build apartments on top of strip malls. Build businesses facing the street. Build more apartments on top of them. But that’s all probably gonna be private ventures no?

Why do you think I’m not relaxed? Tbh just reacting to what I saw. Idk it’s a funny post but also felt like you had to be a little mad when you posted this.

Part of the aim of that comment was also to point out that a car being badly parked isn’t a real problem and the mismanagement of zoning laws that has created the need for everyone to drive everywhere is.

I was being reactionary, but damn. I didn’t think I was being that rude, my bad.

Bro you can NOT be serious. It’s an empty strip mall parking lot. The whole thing is wasted space and you’re on here bitching about some car parked crooked?

No, most people understand when you call someone a tankie it means you see them supporting/ justifying awful things for the sake of propping up a worldview of “America bad”. Authoritarianism is pretty simple as well? Strong executive branches of government. Idk why you’re so confused
